The Humanities Program at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to begin August 2025. The successful candidates will teach Conversatio, a multidisciplinary course providing every Saint Anselm student a shared learning experience in the Liberal Arts. This is a first-year seminar-based course required of all incoming students. The course meets three times a week for 50 minutes. There are sections available Monday/Wednesday/Friday in the morning, mid-day, and afternoon.

Submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, and academic transcripts to the attention of Professor Aubrey Scheopner Torres, Director of Conversatio, via the college website. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the Dean’s Office, at dean@anselm.edu. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and until the positions are filled.

Required Skills: A Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.

Required Experience: Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Experience teaching in and about the liberal arts is preferred.
