Sanborn Head is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our IT operations, strategy, and digital evolution. This client-focused technology leader will oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing solutions, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), IT service management (ITSM), and help desk operations. The Director will partner with business and technical leaders to drive IT strategy, enabling growth and scale. Exceptional communication skills and a passion for client service are essential, as is the ability to guide business leaders with varying levels of IT expertise.

This is a full-time position based in Bedford, NH, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement. The role will begin as an operational position and evolve into a strategic leadership role focused on long-term growth, cybersecurity, and technology innovation. The Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President (COO/EVP).

Essential Functions-What You Will Do

• Provide strategic IT leadership and business advice to foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and strategic partners.
• Deliver IT guidance and strategic recommendations to firm leadership on technology investment, IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance.
• Manage IT operations, including oversight of IT staff and third-party vendors.
• Oversee enterprise systems, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, data privacy, and disaster recovery.
• Support and guide technical software users, ensuring technology adoption, user training, and secure practices.
• Lead software selection, implementation, and deployment, focusing on cost efficiency, interoperability, and security.
• Collaborate with departments to budget, negotiate, and manage software licensing, IT procurement, and technology spend.
• Develop and implement AI strategies while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and security compliance.
• Lead business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity initiatives, including security awareness training.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, IT trends, and best practices relevant to the firm’s operations.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For

• 8 to 12 years of progressive IT experience, with at a BS (MS preferred) in information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in the professional services or consulting industry preferred.
• Strong technical expertise across cloud computing, networking, IT infrastructure, IT operations, systems administration, multi-site delivery, cybersecurity, ITSM, help desk, and application virtualization (e.g., Citrix).
• Proven experience with AI solutions in a business environment preferred.
• Demonstrated team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
